Pagoda Calcite
The crimson hue of the pagoda-style calcite crystals is due to hematite inclusions. This specimen was taken from the Fengjiashan Mine (Daye Copper Mine) in the Hubei Province of China, and it fluoresces a brilliant orange color under shortwave UV.
